Onboarding & Offboarding

Onboarding New Employees

When a new employee is hired, you can report all of the needed onboarding information to Building and Access Managers, the Business Office, HR, IT & Communications by completing the Undergraduate Education New Employee Form.

When you submit the form, it will be reviewed by HR and, once approved, the information you provide will be shared with the various departments that need to help with the onboarding process.

Offboarding Employees

When an employee in your department resigns, complete the following steps to ensure all access and records are updated appropriately:

  1. Forward the resignation letter to HR at vpuehr@iu.edu 
  2. Complete the Employee Resignation Form

Once the Employee Resignation Form is reviewed, the necessary information will be shared with the various departments that need to update access or records after the employee leaves the division.
