Expanding opportunities for students
The IUB 2030 strategic plan includes new experiences for first-year students, expanded experiential learning opportunities, improved support for evidence-based teaching in the classroom, and enhancements in academic advising and career preparation for all undergraduate students.
Introducing Advising & Major Exploration Services
AMES replaces University Division and Students in Transition, and will provide advising services to pre-Business, pre-Nursing, pre-Social Work, and Exploratory students.

INSIGHT Into Diversity, the country's largest, oldest, and most respected national diversity and inclusion publication, has recognized Indiana University Bloomington with the 2023 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award.
In addition to the HEED award, IU Bloomington received its seventh consecutive Diversity Champion award. Schools deemed champions exceed everyday expectations and their own goals in setting the standard for campus diversity and inclusion.
