Typically, each Undergraduate Education staff member is allocated one device, which should be used for IU work only. Special accommodations are necessary to obtain more than one device per staff member.
All devices follow a five-year lifecycle, with their status monitored on a quarterly basis.

The types of computers available vary throughout the year due to changing technology. Standardly a laptop (either MacBook or Dell laptop) is issued.
Employee computers are replaced every five years. If your computer needs to be replaced before it is scheduled to be replaced, please submit the Tech Help Form.
Most UE employees use the following additional equipment at their desk on campus:
Two external 24" displays
Docking station with Power Delivery, HDMI adapters, and additional USB connections
Wired mouse
Wired keyboard
The following may be available from our stock room, as we have limited quantities of spare equipment:
Wired computer speakers
Wired mouse for home use
Wired keyboard for home use

If your computer is running slower than it should, contact the Support Team using the Tech Help Form. The Support Team will investigate what might be causing performance issues and may issue you a temporary laptop while we service your assigned computer or send it off for warranty repair.
