If you are currently registered in an IU Bloomington class this semester, you should be able to enroll again for the next semester without any additional help from IU. See the information below on how to register.
If you enrolled but dropped the class within the first five weeks or if you applied but never enrolled, contact University Division, your IU host academic unit, for guidance. They should be able to set up your enrollment access with just your name and your ten-digit IU ID, which we emailed to you in August.
If you have never applied to IU, follow the steps below to apply to the program and register for a course. You will receive an email acknowledging your acceptance in this program, along with your ten-digit university identification number (UID). Keep this number handy, as you will need it for all your transactions with IU.
Spring 2021 IU classes begin Tuesday, January 19 (for full semester and first eight-week sections) or Monday, February 8 (thirteen-week sections).
Register by Thursday, January 15 to avoid a late registration and a fee.
Fill out an application. Once you have your ten-digit university identification number (UID), create your computing account, including your IU email address.
Check for courses that are available to you free-of-charge through the BTAA Undergraduate Course Exchange. Make a note of the class number to enter in your registration request.
In One.IU, search on the phrase ‘Student Center’ to open your student account and see when you can register.
Look for your Enrollment Date, which is the earliest date and time you can register for classes. The last day to register without a late registration penalty is the Friday before classes begin. For more detailed information on late registration, via Policies/Late Registration.

Whether the material is not quite what you expected, or changes in your class schedule at your home institution no longer leave you enough time for your IU class, we understand.
