Hoosiers are encouraged and empowered to take their education out into the community and into the world beyond the borders of campus and the country.

IU Bloomington is proud to send Hoosiers out into the world to engage with communities and industries to tackle issues firsthand.

Students get involved in local or global communities through coursework, undergraduate research, internships, study abroad opportunities, and more.

IU provides opportunities for students to broaden their education, ranging from conventional study abroad to internships and research.

Funding and awards are available to students engaged in creative activity at IU Bloomington.

Research will be a key component of the undergraduate experience at IU Bloomington.
