Project Timelines

• Digital Signs created by our team to be displayed with a go.iu.edu link and a QR code in a combination of Wells Library, the IMU, and Residence Halls.  
• Time: Allow 1-2 business days

If the provided timeline is not suitable, you are welcome to submit your own graphics to the Marketing team for approval. Then please submit them to be displayed at the following locations: Wells, the IMU, or Residence Halls. 

• Flyers, table tents, yard signs, postcards, and retractable banners can be created by our team to be printed by you or sent to Document Services to order. Please submit a Marketing request with all information you would like to be included in addition to design ideas you have. 
• Time: Allow 1-3 business days
  *design approval from Document Services can affect this timeline

If the provided timeline is not suitable, you are welcome to create your own graphics and get approval from the Marketing team prior to printing. 

• T-shirts and swag items can be created by our team that you can order through an approved vendor (contact the Undergraduate Education Business Office to obtain this list). Please submit a Marketing request with all information you would like to be included in addition to design ideas you have. 
• Time: Allow 1-3 business days

If the provided timeline is not suitable, you are welcome to create your own graphics and get approval from the Marketing team prior to sending to a vendor. 

• Social media posts can be requested for upcoming events, deadlines, services, or general news that you would like to be posted on IU Undergrad's Instagram account. Please include a list of all of the information you would like shared, a link, and any design ideas that you have in the Marketing request submission. 
• Time: Allow 1-3 business days
  
  If the provided timeline is not suitable, you are welcome to create your own graphics and get approval from the Marketing team. We will then schedule the post with your timeline and our post availability. 

• A series of multiple emails sent via Salesforce Marketing Cloud to a list of recipients you provide including content you provide and we edit
• Time: 3 weeks from request to launch of campaign

• A series of multiple emails sent via Salesforce Marketing Cloud that includes a more complex strategy such as segmentation of audiences; involves strategy development by our office and may include us writing the content and getting the data for sending
• Time: 6 weeks from request to launch of campaign

• A photographer from our office takes photos at an on-campus event you have planned.
• Time: For requests during business hours, request at least 2 weeks in advance. For requests outside business hours, request at least 1 month in advance.*

• You have organized a group of people of whom you would like group photos, headshots, and/or staged photos.
• Time: Request at least 1 month in advance

• Edited photos from an event or photoshoot that our office has taken photos for
• Time: Allow two weeks

• A story published in Undergraduate Education’s newsroom that reports about timely events, updates, or developments relevant to the "IU Bloomington "2030 Plan. It is then typically shared through newsletters, websites, or social media platforms.
• Time: 2 weeks from submission

• Correcting misspellings and links or modifying small sections of a single webpage
• Small changes such as the above can be accomplished on one's own through the WCMS training. If there are multiple small issues requiring a page restructure, please submit the request form.

• Submit our Marketing request form with the content you want to be used for adding a completely new single web page to a an existing website
• Time: Allow up to 1 week

• Reorganize a section (usually 3-6 pages) of an existing website, add new pages and remove old ones, develop new content to add to the restructured section
• Time: Allow 1-2 months

• A complete website overhaul, starting with developing the navigation and information architecture, then coordinating all content (text, images, graphics, quotes, stats, etc.) for the website, building it, testing it, launching it, and training on editing
• Time: Expect 6 months minimum

• Launching a completely new website, starting with developing the navigation and information architecture, then coordinating all content (text, images, graphics, quotes, stats, etc.) for the website, building it, testing it, launching it, and training on editing
• Time: Expect 8 months minimum
